The NFL’s policy on concussions has been a hot topic in the news recently. As more and more players are forced to retire due to head trauma, it is becoming increasingly difficult for football fans to watch their favorite sport without feeling uneasy.
The dallas cowboys breaking news today 2021 is a headline that appeared in the Dallas Cowboys Breaking News Today on January 21, 2021.
The Dallas Cowboys are coming off one of their greatest victories of the season, defeating the New England Patriots thanks to a game-winning touchdown grab by CeeDee Lamb. The Cowboys increased their season record to 5-1, and things are looking up in Jerry Jones’ world.
However, this isn’t the case at all.
Prescott suffered a calf injury in Week 6’s victory against New England, which is more severe than first thought.
Dak Prescott’s calf issue is explained by Jerry Jones.
“It was a little discomfort,” Dak Prescott said of his right calf issue. I didn’t like how I was feeling. If I had to, I could have continued playing. “I’m going to be OK.”

During Week 6, Prescott’s performance against Bill Belichick and the Patriots’ always-competitive defense was one for the record books. Prescott threw for 445 yards and three touchdowns, solidifying his status as a genuine MVP contender this season.
Prescott, on the other hand, was not spared. He hurt his calf and went to the doctor the next day for an MRI, which showed a calf strain.
A muscular strain, on the other hand, is much less serious than a muscle rupture or ligament/tendon injury. That does not, however, imply that Prescott is 100 percent. When questioned about the injury, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones had a less-than-optimistic response.
“I believe the fact that the bye is there should take care of things in terms of giving him enough time to go back to where he can compete regularly.” So, if we were playing this week, I think I’d be a bit worried, a little apprehensive. But the fact that we have two may assist me, my mind, and Dr. Jones feel more at ease.”
The Dallas Morning News reports on Jerry Jones.

The Cowboys’ bye in Week 7 is a saving grace, as Jones points out in his answer. Prescott would have likely missed a game if the Cowboys hadn’t been given an additional week to rest and recuperate.
With everything going well for Dallas right now, the last thing they need is for their main quarterback to lose time due to injury.
The Cowboys intend to rest and rehab Prescott throughout the week, with another assessment scheduled for Week 8. Coach Mike McCarthy is “optimistic” that Prescott will be able to start against the Minnesota Vikings as quarterback (Pro Football Talk). However, Dallas hasn’t ruled out the potential that its main quarterback may lose further time due to this latest ailment.

You could make the case once upon a time. Prescott benefited from Dallas’ well-designed attack. Prescott’s duties were restricted due to Ezekiel Elliott, Amari Cooper, and a solid offensive line.
Those days are no longer with us. Prescott is now Jerry Jones’ Cowboys’ heart and soul. Their postseason hopes will vanish if he isn’t available.
When it comes to Prescott’s calf and general health, there’s no need to be concerned just yet. It is, however, something to keep an eye on during the following 10 days. Fans will be able to see how he’s developing and what his situation should be in Week 8.
The Cowboys will turn to backups Cooper Rush and Will Grier if Prescott is unable to play against the Vikings. To put it simply, neither player can be counted on to win an NFL football game.
Pro Football Reference provided all stats.
Regarding Dak Prescott and the Cowboys’ scorching hot start, Drew Brees drops a major truth bomb on the rest of the NFL.
The cowboys maven is a person who follows the Dallas Cowboys football team. They would be probably a little concerned, a little concerned if we were playing this week.
