The Patriots are on a mission to win the Super Bowl and it seems like they might pull off victory this week. This would be an historic feat for anyone, but few people could have predicted that New England would take home their third championship in five years.
The “falcons vs patriots predictions” is a prediction for Week 11 of the 2017 NFL season. The Falcons will be facing off against the New England Patriots and the winner of this game will go on to win their division.

Week 11 Predictions for the Atlanta Falcons
4. Matt Ryan of the Atlanta Falcons passes for 275 yards.
The Falcons were shut down totally by the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. It’s difficult to imagine them playing much worse, particularly on offense. Before the conclusion of the third quarter, Matt Ryan was removed from the game. When the Falcons were down by more than 30 points, they couldn’t even score a garbage-time touchdown.
The Falcons will be somewhat better than they were against the Patriots, since the Dallas debacle was and continues to be a very low bar to cross. In their Thursday night matchup versus the Patriots, Atlanta will have to be much better.
Matt Ryan’s main goal is to smash home runs, since he went to Boston College and played the Patriots in Super Bowl LI, making this game more significant for him. He isn’t able to hit a lot of singles. Against Justin Herbert and Baker Mayfield, among others, the Patriots have thwarted the big play. Their defense is in top form and poses the most difficult task to NFL quarterbacks. As a defensive coach, Bill Belichick has proved this season that he hasn’t lost the mustard on his fastball. Ryan will most likely move the ball between the 20s, but how well he and the Falcons execute in the red zone will determine the outcome of the game. A total of 275 throwing yards isn’t a sign of success (or failure). In Week 11, the true challenge is to make those yards count.
3. In the first half, the Falcons will score less than 10 points.
The Falcons realized against the Cowboys that their personnel isn’t ready to compete against top-tier competition. With Trevor Siemian as quarterback, the Falcons have beaten the New York Jets and Giants, the Miami Dolphins, and (their one slightly decent victory) the New Orleans Saints. A stacked Cowboys team buried them, reinforcing the long-held belief among many Atlanta supporters that the club has to rebuild from the ground up and quit deceiving itself about its current condition.
The Falcons aren’t going to be able to break through a Belichick defense. The opening half of the game is going to be a rollercoaster.
2. The Falcons’ defense will keep the Patriots to a total of 375 yards.
The Patriots don’t win games because of their offense. They placed the game in their defense’s hands. Belichick emphasized to Mac Jones the importance of avoiding making a major blunder. Jones has been making fewer mistakes, enabling the defense-first strategy to thrive. For the Pats, this is the plan.
In the Falcons’ blowout defeat to the Cowboys, Dak Prescott and company torched the Falcons’ defense. The Patriots’ attack will be less intimidating than the Cowboys’, allowing Atlanta’s defense to hold New England under 400 yards. We’ll go even lower, to under 375.
1. In Week 11, the Atlanta Falcons will lose to the New England Patriots.
While the Patriots might be caught off guard by the Thursday Night Football turnaround, and the boomerang hypothesis — one week in the NFL is never the same as the last — could lead to a strong Falcons showing, we’re not convinced.
Yes, it will be a tight game. The Patriots will not be able to defeat the Falcons with their current level of performance. However, it’s difficult to believe Atlanta’s offensive line will be strong enough to overcome the Pats’ defensive line and win the game outright.
The Patriots will win by one score, most likely a touchdown, against the Falcons.
The “atlanta vs new england prediction” is a game between the Atlanta Falcons and New England Patriots. The game will be played at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts on November 11th at 8:20 PM EST.
